As a pioneer in paper and visual communication materials, OVOL needed to engage with its target audience to retain and grow its customer base, and stay relevant amidst the rising competition in its industry.

Commissioned by OVOL Singapore (then Spicers Paper), we approached the campaign with the concept – Freedom of Expression. Expressing this concept through iconic images of freedom activists, the aim is to encourage designers to diligently push their boundaries and express their creative works. OVOL Singapore stands with the design industry to enable designers in their expression.

A hard box embossed with images of freedom fighters enclosed the paper swatches. We employed design thinking to make the swatches easily identifiable and accessible. The solid black box, with images of freedom fighters treated with UV spotlight and a splash of bright orange hue, carries a quiet hint of vibrancy.

The impeccable combination enhanced OVOL Singapore’s profile in the design industry and brought the company attention with the innovative and sophisticated look.
