Urban planners of Singapore are continuously striving to improve the built environment so as to create a better quality of life for the people of Singapore.

The transformation requires collective efforts on the part of the government, private sector companies as well as individuals. To this end, business leaders and companies are encouraged to invest, uplift and improve the Singapore built environment. Thanks to the collective efforts of Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and its partners, many of Singapore’s iconic landmarks carry sustainable features.

To showcase this decade-long milestone of Singapore’s green building journey, we were entrusted by BCA to design its coffee table book.

The foreword by the then-Minister for National Development Khaw Boon Wan underscored how the commemorative book not only showcased Singapore’s landscape and thoughtful designs, it served as an encouragement to community and corporate partners to continue on the greening journey.

Our overarching design approach was to epitomise the significant projects in Singapore and their features of sustainability.

With the generous imagery, info graphics and engaging copy, the publication introduced projects and stories that weave a story of BCA’s engagement with its communities and strengthen its brand position as a champion in future-proofing Singapore’s built environment.
